G’in the Pink
serves 1
2 ounces Blue Whale gin
2 ounces fresh pink grapefruit juice
1 ounce Giffard grapefruit liqueur
1/2 ounce rosemary simple syrup*
splash maraschino cherry juice
squeeze fresh lime
garnish - maraschino cherry
In a shaker combine gin, grapefruit juice, grapefruit liqueur, rosemary simple syrup, cherry juice
and lime juice. Add ice and shake, shake, shake. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with a
maraschino cherry.
Rosemary Simple Syrup
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
3 sprigs rosemary
In a small saucepan combine sugar and water and stir to combine. Bring to a boil, reduce to
simmer and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and add rosemary sprigs. Let
steep for 30 minutes. Remove rosemary sprigs and store for up to two weeks in a sealed
container in the refrigerator.
