Shelter to Soldier
We learned about Shelter to Soldier a few years ago, since then we have become more involved in raising funds and awareness. The concept is a shelter dog is rescued and trained as a psychiatric service dog for a post-9/11 combat veteran. What a wonderful way to “save lives, two at a time”!
