Lillet Basil Breeze
serves 1-2

8 medium basil leaves, torn up
3 tablespoons simple syrup
3 ounces Lillet Blanc
1 1/2 ounces vodka
1 1/2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon kosher salt

Mix together salt and sugar on a small plate.
​
Prepare your glass. Rub the rim of a rocks glass with a lemon wedge and dip in the sugar/salt
mixture. Fill the glass with crushed ice.
In a shaker, muddle the basil leaves with the simple syrup. Add the Lillet, vodka and lemon juice
and ice and shake, shake, shake. Strain into prepared glass.
