Baked Brie with Calabrian Chili, Honey and Pecans

serves 4

preheat oven to 350 degrees

This is a very decadent appetizer, but so tasty! I am crazy about crushed calabrian chili

combined with honey, it is my new favorite topping for almost everything! Feel free to swap out

the toppings…honestly you could even use apricot preserves and pecans and it would be very

tasty…but give this recipe a try first! I used my pizza oven in the video, but I have directions

using a regular oven here.

Brie wheel (5-7 inches in diameter)

1/4 cup crushed calabrian chili (available online)

1/4 cup honey

pinch of kosher salt

1/4 cup toasted and chopped pecans

toasted baguette slices and/or crackers

In a small bowl, combine calabrian chili, honey and salt, stir to combine and set aside.

Place brie wheel in a small casserole dish….anything that has a rim will work. Place in oven and

bake for 10-15 minutes until it starts to color and looks oozy. Remove from oven and drizzle

calabrian chili honey over the top and sprinkle with toasted pecans..let sit a couple of minutes to

cool down a bit. Serve with toasted baguette slices or crackers.
