Rosemary Spiced Nuts

Rosemary Spiced Nuts

makes 2 cups

preheat oven to 350 degrees

 

2 1/2 tablespoons butter

2 teaspoons dried rosemary, crumbled

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

2 cups nuts of your choice - I like pecans and cashews

1-2 tablespoons demerara sugar

 

In the microwave or on the stovetop, melt the butter with the rosemary, salt and cayenne.

Pour the mixture over the nuts, toss to coat.

Place on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.

As soon as you remove from the oven, sprinkle with the demerara sugar and toss.

Let cool. Can make up to 2 days ahead, store in sealed container in dry place.
