Spicy Peach Sangria
Spicy Peach Sangria

serves four
1 bottle sauvignon blanc, or other light crisp white wine
2 cups sliced peaches (frozen is fine)
2 tablespoons brandy
2 tablespoons peach liqueur
1/2 lime, sliced
1/2 lemon, sliced
1/2 orange, sliced
1/4 cup habanero syrup*
club soda
Combine all ingredients (except club soda) in a large pitcher, place in fridge for at least 8 hours.
Serve in a wine glass over ice.
Top with a splash of club soda (or lemon lime soda if you want a little sweeter).
Habanero Syrup
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 habanero
Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan, simmer and stir until sugar is dissolved.
Remove from heat, add habanero, let steep for 20-30 minutes. Remove chili and store syrup in
fridge for up to 2 weeks.
