Vanilla Mint Martini

Vanilla Mint Martini

serves one

This is quite a fun and festive holiday cocktail. The crushed candy cane looks like snow on the

rim of the glass. This would be a great “batch” cocktail at a holiday party…just combine all

ingredients in larger quantities in a pitcher and shake individually as you serve each drink!

2 ounces vanilla infused vodka*

2 1/4 ounces white chocolate liqueur (Godiva recommended)

2 ounces peppermint schnapps

Finely crushed candy cane

1 candy cane

Place crushed candy cane on a plate. Rub the rim of a martini glass with agave or simple syrup.

Dip edge of glass in crushed candy cane and set aside.

In a shaker combine vanilla vodka, white chocolate liqueur and peppermint schnapps, add ice

and…shake, shake, shake! Strain into prepared glass and garnish with a candy cane.

Vanilla Infused Vodka

1 750 ml bottle of vodka

1 vanilla bean, split and scraped

Place split vanilla bean and scrapings of bean in bottle of vodka. Set aside for about a week in a

cool dark place. Taste after a week to determine if vodka is “vanilla-y” enough. If so, remove

vanilla bean, if not let sit a few more days. Vodka will last up to a year in the freezer.
